ABSTRACT

Accumulating evidence demonstrates that the nucleus tractus solitarii (NTS) neurons serve as central respiratory chemoreceptors, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain undefined. The present study investigated the expression of acid-sensitive ether-à-go-go-gene-like (Elk, Kv12) channels in the NTS of mice. Immunofluorescence staining was used to observe the distribution and cellular localization of the Kv12 channels in NTS neurons. Western blot and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) were used to evaluate protein and mRNA expression levels of Kv12 channels. The results showed that all of the three members (Kv12.1, Kv12.2, Kv12.3) of the Kv12 channel family were expressed in NTS neurons, and their expressions were co-localized with paired-like homeobox 2b gene (Phox2b) expression. The expression of Kv12.1 mRNA was the largest, whereas the expression of Kv12.3 was the least in the NTS. The results suggest Kv12 channels are expressed in Phox2b-expressing neurons in the NTS of mice, which provides molecular evidence for pH sensitivity in Phox2b-expressing NTS neurons.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the predictive and guiding significance of peripheral blood biomarkers on the therapeutic effects of PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor treatment on lung cancer patients. Methods We collected the data of 200 lung cancer patients treated with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors treatment, including clinical indicators, peripheral blood indicators, efficacy indicators and survival indicators. Results The DCR of patients with non-hepatic metastasis, immune combined chemotherapy, NLR≤2.81 and LDH≤202.5 u/L was higher (P < 0.05). The AUC value of NLR combined with LDH predicting DCR was 0.698 (P < 0.05). Univariate analysis showed that non-hepatic metastasis, first-line immunotherapy, immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy and LDH≤202.5 u/L were related to PFS (P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the patients with non-hepatic metastasis and LDH≤202.5 u/L had longer PFS (P < 0.05). The significant decrease of NLR and LDH after two cycles of immunotherapy indicated the effectiveness of immunotherapy (P < 0.05). Conclusion NLR≤2.81, LDH≤202.5 u/L, non-hepatic metastasis and immunotherapy combined chemotherapy are positively correlated with immunotherapy efficacy. Non-hepatic metastasis and LDH≤202.5 u/L are independent prognostic factors of the patients treated with immunotherapy. The changes of peripheral blood NLR and LDH are related to the efficacy of PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors treatment.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To examine the status of bullying behaviors and psychological resilience of primary school students and the relationship between the two, and to provide references for related interventions.@*Methods@#Olweus bullying questionnaire and adolescent psychological resilience scale were used to select students in grades 4-6 for questionnaire survey.@*Results@#Primary school students who were bullied, bullied others, double-involved and uninvolved accounted 33.3%, 48.7%, 15.3%, and 2.7%. There were statistically significant differences in bullying in different dimensions of different genders, grades, and previous suicidal thoughts (P<0.05); there were statistically significant differences in the bullied status of only children, divorced parents, and different caregivers (t/F=3.64,2.65,6.62,P<0.05); The status of bullying behavior of students in the class was better than that of ordinary students (t=-2.18, P<0.05); senior students have a higher level of positive cognition (F=8.71, P<0.05); mental toughness of urban students better than rural areas (t=-2.20, P<0.05); students with divorced parents had poor levels of emotional control, family support, and psychological toughness (t=-4.60,-3.92,-3.44,P<0.05); class cadres focused on focus, positive cognition, family support, interpersonal assistance, and psychological resilience were better than ordinary students (t=5.19,6.43,5.64,4.13,6.58,P<0.05); students with parental care had better levels of target concentration, emotional control, family support, interpersonal assistance, and psychological resilience (t=4.59,8.68,8.76,12.35,13.45,P<0.05); the level of psychological resilience of students was low (t=15.90,P<0.05). Correlation analysis shows that there was a negative correlation between bullying behavior and psychological resilience of all pupils (P<0.01), regression analysis showed that bullying behavior may had a negative prediction of mental resilience (F=128.37, R2=0.12, P<0.01).@*Conclusion@#The current situation of bullying behavior and mental resilience of grade 4-6 students is worrisome, and it is urgent to improve the current situation of bullying and psychological resilience of primary school students.

ABSTRACT

The incidence of chronic wounds has been increasing over the past 20 years. However, the standardized diagnosis and treatment practice of chronic refractory wounds have not been established. In addition, the properties of the wound are characterized by morphology and thus correct description of the wound in medical history collection plays a vital role, which directly affects the definitive diagnosis. To develop more accurate format of clinical history record which can correctly reflect a patient's course and treatment progress, and to standardize the medical history record of chronic refractory wounds, at the national or regional level, we designed the WoundCareLog APP. It acts as a recording and communication tool for wound healing specialists at all levels of medical institutions in China. The WoundCareLog APP is fully compatible to meet the criteria and requirements of conventional medical records by embedding 9 modules. In addition, the demands for morphological description of wounds in wound healing diagnosis and treatment have been fulfilled by enroll of digital imaging technology to overcome the inadequacies of traditional medical history records.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the differential expression of miR-126-5p in patients with lung adenocarcinoma and explore the possible mechanism.@*METHODS@#We searched STARBASE database to analyze the differential expression of miR-126-5p between lung adenocarcinoma tissues and normal lung tissues. The prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma was analyzed on Kaplan-Meier Plotter online website, and the survival curves of the patients with different expression levels of miR-126-5p were generated. The target gene of mir-126-5p was predicted by STARBASE database, and the expression level of the target gene and its influence on the patients' prognosis were analyzed using online website tool. We also examined the expression levels of miR-126-5p in peripheral serum of 30 healthy control subjects and 30 patients with lung adenocarcinoma using qPCR.@*RESULTS@#Analysis of the data from STARBASE database showed a high expression of miR-126-5p in normal lung tissues but a low expression in lung adenocarcinoma tissues. Kaplan-Meier Plotter online analysis based on big data analysis showed that patients with a high expression of miR-126-5p had a better survival prognosis than those with a low expression (HR=0.68, =0.015). MiR-126-5p was predicted to bind to the 3'UTR region of BRCC3 mRNA, and their expression levels were negatively correlated (=0.197, < 0.05). Compared with normal tissues, lung adenocarcinoma tissues expressed high levels of BRCC3, which was associated with a poor prognosis of the patients (HR=1.39, < 0.05). The serum level of miR-126-5p was significantly higher in healthy control subjects than in patients with lung adenocarcinoma (1.23 ± 0.21 0.63 ± 0.12, < 0.05).@*CONCLUSIONS@#The expression level of miR-126-5p is lowered in lung adenocarcinoma tissue, and patients with lung adenocarcinoma have lower serum level of miR-126-5p than healthy subjects. A high expression of miR-126-5p is associated with a more favorable prognosis of the patients than a low expression. miR-126-5p may play a role against cancer by regulating BRCC3.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To develop a method using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry to determine the urinary metabolites of benzene, toluene and xylene. The selected metabolites are S-phenylmercapturic acid (S-PMA) , trans, trans-muconic acid (t, t-MA) , 8-hydroxy-2 deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) , hippuric acid (HA) , 2-methylhippuric acid (2-MHA) , 3-methylhippuric acid (3-MHA) and 4-methylhippuric acid (4-MHA) .@*Methods@#The urine sample was pretreated using methanol to precipitate the proteins. HSS T3 chromatographic column was used to separate the metabolites. The mass spectrometric acquisition was carried out using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) after ionization with ESI source. External standard method was used for quantification.@*Results@#All the standard curves showed good linear relation, and r of the seven metabolites was all above 0.999. The detection limits and quantitative limits of the seven metabolites were 0.01-500 ng/ml and 0.02-1 000 ng/ml (based on the actual dilution ratio) , respectively. The average spiked recoveries of four loadings ranged from 85.8% to 109.9%. The intra-day and inter-day precisions were 0.2%-4.5% and 0.6%-9.5%, respectively. The samples can be kept for at least 14 days at both 4 ℃ and -20 ℃.@*Conclusion@#This method is simple, rapid and highly sensitive with low cost, and its accuracy, precision and stability can meet the daily test requirements. It can be applied for the determination of urinary S-PMA, t, t-MA, 8-OHdG, HA, 2-MHA, 3-MHA and 4-MHA for the occupational population exposed to benzene, toluene and xylene.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the types of non-tumor diseases in patients with cancer, and to explore the effects of those dis-eases on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Methods:We collected the medical records of cancer patients from January 2013 to December 2017 in Peking University Cancer Hospital, and screened for non-tumor diseases. The clinical records of the patients in this group were analyzed retrospectively, and the effects of those diseases on the diagnosis and treatment of tumors were dis-cussed. Results:Of the 1,323 cases of inter-hospital consultation, 1,153 cases of non-tumor disease (87.2%) were selected. There were 773 men (67.0%) and 380 women (33.0%) included. The median age was 62 (14-90) years. The primary tumor types included lung can-cer, gastric cancer, lymphoma, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, malignant melanoma, liver cancer, cholangiocarci-noma/gallbladder cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other tumors. Non-neoplastic diseases included cardiovascular disease in 356 cases (30.9%), respiratory system disease (17.0%) in 196 cases, digestive system disease in 107 cases (9.3%), skin and venereal diseases in 81 cases (7.0%), nervous system lesions (6.4%) in 74 cases, urinary system disease in 72 cases (6.2%), blood disease in 70 cases (6.1%), en-docrine and metabolic diseases in 47 cases (4.1%), autoimmune disease in 23 cases (2.0%), and other diseases (11.0%) in 127 cases. Impact on tumor diagnosis and treatment was as follows:direct, 771 cases (66.9%);no influence, 313 cases (27.1%);and uncertain, 69 cases (6.0%). Conclusions:Cardiovascular disease is a major non-tumor disease associated with cancer. Non-neoplastic diseases are important factors affecting the diagnosis and treatment plans of cancer.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the diagnosis and treatment of the fungal ball rhino-sinusitis.@*METHOD@#The clinical data of 128 cases with the fungal ball rhino-sinusitis in our hospital between September 2005 and January 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were accepted nasal endoscopic surgery and followed up after surgery. The diagnosis were confirmed by postoperative pathological examination.@*RESULT@#The sinus of all patients epithelialized after the surgery from fourth to ninth weeks, one case recurred eight months later.@*CONCLUSION@#Sinus CT scan and nasal endoscopy were very important to the diagnosis of the fungal ball rhino-sinusitis, and nasal endoscopic surgery is the most important treatment method to fungal ball rhino-sinusitis.

ABSTRACT

In order to investigate the effects of different terms of inhaled nitric oxide (NO) preconditioning with low concentration on the activations of Toll-like receptor 2 and 4 (TLR2/4) in the lung ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury in mice, we divided the male C57BL mice into five groups: sham (S) group, IR group, NO 1-min preconditioning group (15 ppm NO inhalation for 1 min before ischemia, NO 1-min), NO 10-min preconditioning group (15 ppm NO inhalation for 10 min before ischemia, NO 10-min), NO 60-min preconditioning group (15 ppm NO inhalation for 60 min before ischemia, NO 60-min). The changes of partial pressure of oxygen in artery (PaO2), left lung wet-to-dry weight ratio (W/D), and myeloperoxidase (MPO) in the injured lung were measured in every group at 6th h of reperfusion after 60 min of left lung ischemia. The changes of TLR2/4 activations and plasma TNF-α were measured in this procedure in additional mice. As compared with IR group, PaO2 increased, MPO and W/D decreased evidently after reperfusion in NO 10-min group. The changes in NO 60-min group were similar to those in NO 10-min group. There was no difference between NO 1-min and IR group. In NO inhalation group, the expressions levels of TLR2/4 mRNA and proteins were diminished, TNF-α concentrations were decreased, and the lung injuries were ameliorated effectively. We concluded that short term inhalation of NO protected lung IR injury. But the protective effect of NO was not increased with extension of inhaled NO. Inhaled NO could inhibit the activations of TLR2/4 in the lung after IR injury. TLR signal pathway might contribute to the effect of protection with NO in this model.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo investigate the establishment of stable mice orthotopic left lung transplant model MethodsForty male Balb/c mice randomly served as recipients and donors.Each couple had the similar weight. Three-cuff technique was used to establish mice orthotopic lung transplant model.The micro CT of chest and the artery blood analysis were detected at first month after transplantation.ResultsThe achievement ratio was 95%.More than 90% of the recipients survived after surgery.Cold ischemia time was (35.6±5.9) min,warm ischemia time was (25.3±7.2) min,donor lung back up time was (21.0±5.6) min,and the whole surgery time was (85±15)min.The long-term survival time achieved more than 30 days with functional lung graft.Micro CT showed clear left lung graft field one month after surgery,and left bronchus cuff was still open.The PaO2 of the artery blood was ( 106.9±5.8 ) mmHg before clipping right lung hlium,and after clipping that was (105.0±8.7) mmHg with the difference being not significant between them (P>0.05).Histologically,the lung graft appeared very similar to the right lung one month after surgery.The pulmonary alveoli were aerated well.ConclusionBased on our experience of the orthotopic lung transplantation model in mice,through practicing,we independently and successfully established orthotopic lung transplantation model in mice.Compared to the method established by the other country,our method is easier to perform and more stable.This will benefit the basic research related to lung transplantation.

ABSTRACT

This study examined the differentiation character and pluripotency of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) under different conditions. Adult MSCs were initially isolated from the bone marrow of rats, cultured in vitro and identified by flow cytometry. After MSCs were transferred to osteogenic and adipogenic medium respectively, the morphological characterization of induced cells was observed. The expression of marker genes was detected by RT-PCR analysis. Then MSCs were transfected with lentiviral vectors pGC-FU-Sox9-EGFP. Enhanced green fluorescence protein (EGFP) expression and transfection efficiency were determined by fluorescence microscopy. The results demonstrated that EGFP caused no effect on the multilineage potential of adult MSCs. Sox9 gene expression of high level was maintained stable in the transfected MSCs and induced MSCs to differentiate into chondrocytes. Aggracan was positive in chondrogenic lineages and the expression of aggracan and type collagen II was significantly increased during MSCs chondrogenic differentiation. It was concluded that Sox9 gene-modified adult MSCs may be promising candidate cells for further studies on tissue engineering. EGFP facilitates the research on MSCs physiological behavior and application in tissue engineering during differentiation both in vitro and in vivo.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: It was uncertain that the migration, differentiation and survival of transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) into myocardium after the acute myocardial infarction. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the migration, differentiation and survival of rabbit transplanted autologous BMSCs in myocardium after the acute myocardial infarction. METHODS: Rabbit BMSCs were isolated and labeled by DAPI in vitro. Rabbit left anterior descending branch was ligated to establish acute myocardial infarction models. Following successful model establishment, 30 New Zealand rabbits were assigned to BMSC and control groups (n = 15). In the BMSC group, autologous BMSCs were infused into the surrounding sites of the infracted region by 4 points 1 hour following coronary artery ligation. In the control group, the same region was injected with an equal volume of saline. Injection volume was 30 μL in each point. Five animals from each group were sacrificed 10 minutes, 3 days and 4 weeks following transplantation. The heart was obtained to undergo frozen sections. The distribution of DAPI-labeled BMSCs was observed using fluorescence microscope. Immunofluorescence method was used to examine the troponin Ⅰ and α-actin. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: DAPI-labeled BMSCs with blue nuclei were distributed extensively in the myocardium of the cell transplantation group, ovoid in shape and arranged in parallel with the cardiac muscle fibers. Troponin Ⅰ and α-actin were positive immunofluorescently in the cytoplasm of the labeled BMSCs. Results indicated that transplanted BMSCs in the ischemic myocardium could differentiate into myocardial cells under stimulation of local microenvironment.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>BACKGROUND</b>Mumps virus infection is a potentially serious viral infection of childhood and early adulthood. In China, live attenuated S(79) mumps vaccine has been licensed for pediatric use since 1990. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of live attenuated S(79) mumps vaccine against clinical mumps in outbreaks.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Cases were selected from mumps outbreaks in schools in Guangzhou between 2004 and 2005. Each case was matched by gender, age and classroom. Vaccination information was obtained from Children's EPI Administrative Computerized System. Vaccine effectiveness (VE) was calculated for 1 or 2 doses of S(79) vaccine with 95% confidence intervals (CI).</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>One hundred and ninety-four cases and 194 controls were enrolled into the study. VE of the S(79) mumps vaccine for 1 dose versus 0 confer protection 80.4% (95% CI, 60.0%-90.4%) and VEs against mumps in outbreaks for 1 dose of mumps vaccine are similar among those children aged 4-9 years and aged over 10 years old.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The live attenuated S(79) mumps vaccine can be effective in preventing clinical mumps outbreaks.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>INF-lambda has anti-viral and anti-tumor activities. Its application in viral myocarditis (VMC) has not been reported. This study investigated the role of INF-lambda in acute VMC in mice.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Forty mice were randomly divided into three groups: VMC (n=15), IFN-lambda2-treated VMC (n=15) and control (n=10). VMC was induced by an intraperitoneal injection of Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3).The control group was intraperitoneally injected with 2% PBS. The IFN-lambda2-treated VMC group was administered with 400 ng IFN-lambda2 (0.1 mL) by subcutaneous injections daily, for 5 days. The control and the VMC groups were given equal amount of nomal saline.The surviving mice were sacrificed 9 days after IFN-lambda2 treatment. The pathological changes of heart tissues were examined under a light microscope. Bcl-2 and Bax expression in heart tissues was determined by immunohistochemistry.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The control group presented normal heart tissues. The INF-lambda2-treated VMC group showed significantly a lower pathological score (1.5+/-0.5) than the untreated VMC group (2.8+/-0.8) (P<0.01). Bcl-2 expression decreased (P<0.01), in contrast, Bax expression increased (P<0.01) in the untreated VMC group compared with that in the control group. INF-lambda2 treatment resulted in an increased Bcl-2 expression (P<0.01) and a decreased Bax expression (P<0.01) compared to the untreated VMC group.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>INF-lambda2 may alleviate myocardial injuries and inhibit cardiomyocytic apoptosis, thus providing protective effects on myocardial cells in mice with acute VMC.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate distribution, drug resistance and risk factors of pathogens isolated from septicemic patients in a hospital in the past 6 years.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Most of the bacterial isolates were identified with BD Phoenix, and a few isolates were identified manually and with K-B method. Candida isolates were identified with color display plates and K-B method. WHONET5.4 software was used for analysis.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The common bacteria isolated form the blood included E. coli, P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae, and S. aureu. The gram-negative bacillus from the blood exhibited relatively low resistance to such antibiotics as cefoperazone/sulbactam, imipenem, amikacin, piperacillin/tazobactam, and ceftazidime, and the incidences of E.coli and K. pneumoniae isolates producing extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBLs) ranged between 33.3% and 34.9% and between 32.9% and 36.0%, respectively. The gram-positive coccus from blood showed a sensitivity rate of 100.0% to vancomycin and low resistant rates to amikacin and chloramphenicol; the methicillin-resistant rates of S. aureu and coagulase-negative staphylococcus were 26.9%-35.5% and 72.7%-74.3%, respectively. The risk factors of septicemia included hospital stay for over 5 days, venous catheterization, surgeries, puncture, oxygen therapy, urine tract catheterization, and chemotherapy.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Blood culture can be of importance in patients with septicemia, and the use of antibiotics should be carefully weighed according to the results of bacterial culture and sensitivity tests of the pathogens isolated from the blood.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To evaluate the psychological anxiety of graduates at a medical university under the ever-increasing employment pressure, so as to provide ground work for psychological intervention on college students.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Subjects were randomly drawn from the students who majored in clinical medicine, biomedical engineering, nursing and integrated Chinese and western medicine and graduated in the year of 2008 and 2009, with 25 subjects from each major each year, totaling up to 200. In March of their graduation year, they were evaluated by Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA). A general analysis into their anxiety was first made and then the comparative analysis of anxiety on the basis of gender, year group and major of the subjects.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Female students showed a significantly higher anxiety than male students. Graduates in 2009 showed a significantly higher anxiety than those in 2008. In terms of the major difference, the anxiety was in a falling curve from integrated Chinese and western medicine, clinical medicine, biomedical engineering and nursing. There was no major difference in the students majoring integrated Chinese and western medicine, clinical medicine and biomedical engineering, but nursing students showed significantly low anxiety.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>The increasing employment pressure has caused the significant increase in the anxiety of college students. The employment rate in different majors may play a positive role in anxiety. Generally, female students showed a higher degree of anxiety than male students.</p>

ABSTRACT

This study investigated the expression of hemeoxygenase-1 (HO-1) in rats with acute lung rejection and its implication. A valid rat orthotopic left lung transplantation model (SD rat-->Wistar rat) was established by using an improved three-cuff anastomosis technique. The rats were divided into control group, CoPP (HO-1 inducer)-treated group and ZnPP (HO-1 inhibitor)- treated group. The severity of acute rejection was graded on the basis of the morphologic changes of the lung samples stained with HE. The expression of HO-1 protein in lung tissue was detected by using immunohistochemistry and Western blot, and HO-1 mRNA activity was assayed by RT-PCR. The results showed that the expression of HO-1 protein was significantly increased with the acute rejection grading in rats (P0.05). It was concluded that HO-1 protein might be involved in the pathological process of post-graft acute rejection. The expression of HO-1 protein was increased gradually with aggravation of acute rejection, and HO-1 protein might be used as an index to monitor acute rejection after lung transplantation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the changes of perioperative right ventricular function after pulmonary resction. Methods 45 cases of pulmonary resection were divided into four groups.Group Ⅰwas wedge resection(n = 10), GroupⅡ was lobectomy(n = 19), Group Ⅲ was double lobectomy(n=7)and Group Ⅳ was pneumonectomy(n=9). The changes of CVP, PAMP, PEP/ET, Sa, VTIs, RVSP, Ea/Aa, and Tel were evaluated by traditional ultrasonic and tissue Doppler ultrasonic techniques at different time inter- vals (pre-operation, 5-7 days orland 1 month post-operation), Results Compared with the pre-operation CVP, the indexes of all groups have no significant changes post-operatively. Wedge resection didn' t obviously influence right cardiac after load and systolic function/diastolic function. No evidet changes detected in Tei pre-and post-operatively. However, the indexes (PAMP, RVSP and PEP/ET ratio) reflecting right cardiac afterload evidently increased at post-pneumonectomy or lobectomy group5- 7 days post-opera- tive. All these reflect the decrease of Tei, which was more obvious in pneumonectomy than in lobectomy group. Right cardiac after- load, systolic/diastolic function and Tel index recovered to pre-operative level 1 month post-operation in single lobectomy group. But the above indicators, especially the Tel, were still high in double lobectomy and pmeunonectomy groups 1 morth post-operation.Tei index is positively correlated with PAMP and is weakly correlated with PET/ET ratio and Ea/Aa ratio. Conclusion Pulmonary wedge resection doesn't evidently influence right cardiac function. However, right cardiac diastolic function evidently decreases temporarily at lobectomy group. The systolic function and diastolic funetions decrease after double-lobectomy and pneumonectomy and it's more evident in pneumonectomy group. Though the right cardiac afterloads of lobectomy, double lobectomy and pneumonectomy groupa all increase significantly post-operativlye, only the former recover to pre-operative level 1 month after surgery.
